What is the safe diesel generator procedure?

The brand of a diesel generator is defined by the brand of a diesel engine, which is fitted with a diesel engine, and therefore called a diesel generator. The main brands on the market now are Cummins, Shanghai Chai, Yuchai, Weichai Power, rolls-royce, Mitsubishi, Katel, Vîlvă, MTU, Köln-deutz and other well-known domestic and foreign brands.

一、Preparation of the unit before start-up

1、Check the oil level, coolant level, fuel level.

2、Check the diesel engine oil supply, lubrication, cooling and other systems of the pipelines and joints whether oil leakage phenomenon.

3、Check whether the electrical lines have broken skin and other leakage risks, the ground wire electrical lines loose, the unit and the foundation of the connection is firm.

4、If the ambient temperature is below zero, it is necessary to add a certain proportion of antifreeze in the radiator.

5、When the fuel diesel generator is restarted after a long period of downtime or the first start-up, they should exhaust the air in the fuel system with a hand pump.

二、Start

1、Close the safety control box, press the Start button, press the button 3 ~ 5s, if the start is not successful, should wait 20s to start again. If the multiple start-up is not successful, should stop the start-up operation, excluding battery voltage or oil circuit failure factors, and then start again.

2、Start should observe a few oil pressure, if the oil pressure does not show or very low, should immediately stop inspection.

三、Run

1、After the unit starts, check the control box module parameters, oil pressure, water temperature, voltage, frequency and so on.

2、Under normal circumstances, the unit after starting speed directly to rated speed, idle requirements of the unit, idle time is generally 3 to 5 minutes, idle time is not too long, or may burn the relevant components of the generator.

3、Check the oil line, water line and electrical leakage.

4、Check the unit at the connection of the fastening situation, see whether there are looseness and violent vibration.

5、Observe whether the various protection and monitoring devices of the unit are normal.

6、When the converter reaches the rated speed and the parameters of no-load operation are stable, the power supply is closed.

7、Check to make sure that the parameters of the control panel are in the allowable range, again check the vibration of the unit, there are no three leaks and other faults.

8、Unit operation is strictly prohibited overload.

四、Normal shutdown

Before stopping the machine must first switch off, generally after unloading to run 3 ~ 5 minutes to stop the machine.

五、Emergency shutdown

1、The electric generator must be stopped immediately in case of abnormal operation.

2、When emergency shutdown, press the emergency stop button or push down the stop control handle of the fuel injection pump to the parking position quickly.

六、Maintenance matters

1、The replacement time of diesel filter element is 300h, the replacement time of air filter element is every 400h, the first replacement time of oil filter element is 50H, the later is 250H.

2、The first oil replacement time is 50H, after the normal oil replacement time is every 250H.
